Moss Family Farms is a small family owned farm located in Hempstead, Texas. The owner, James Moss, retired from the United States Air Force after serving the country for 20 years. Together with his wife, Mieko, they envisioned growing a garden full of fresh vegetables utilizing only natural substances and without the use of any chemicals and pesticides.  Though the work is strenuous, they have continued to work on providing only the freshest vegetables to their family and friends. The fields are maintained by only the two and their products can be found at local Farmers markets sold by the husband and wife team.  Everyone is welcomed to stop by and visit with the Mosses on Saturday mornings at the Tomball Farmers Market.
